Nina T. Yamakado is head of Clonlara's Japanese Division.   She also fills the roles of Enrollment Services Administrator and Accounts Receivable Bookkeeper.

She moved from Japan to Michigan in 1988. She truly enjoys working with the dedicated, caring Japanese Division staff and serving homeschoolers, mostly those living in Japan.   While living in Japan, her busy life included majoring in English Literature, being a certified Yamaha music instructor, and a dedicated tennis player.   Nina volunteers as a special education advocate for Japanese families, a medical translator for Japanese patients, and as a piano accompanist for concert soloists.   Her eldest and middle sons attended the Clonlara School Campus program for several years.   Nina especially enjoys sharing time with her three magnificent children, and says she learns from them every day.
