Home education is an enduring practice that occurs successfully, worldwide. Clonlara School plays an important role by helping students turn their dreams and experiences into curriculum and credit. We work with families to design the educational approach that will fit the student, hand in glove. Our love of learning and respect for the individual creative process has inspired families for generations. Our program allows a student to gain the requisite knowledge
in his or her own way while earning credit from a recognized, accredited school.
Clonlara School is the perfect infrastructure for home educating families: advice, record keeping, review, mentoring - all the glue it takes to provide official school transcripts documenting independent student work.
We are not a warehouse for curriculum and textbook packages, nor are we a correspon- dence school that assigns and grades the student's work. Clonlara's experienced, professional Advisors guide you through student assessment; design, development and delivery of curriculum, and evaluation of learning.
Clonlara allows home school families to use our curriculum, or their own, or another program's curriculum to gain knowledge and earn credit. Choice is central to everything we do: Choice of curriculum, resources, method and timing. With us, you have the freedom of flexibility with the assistance of our expertise so you can self-design your education.
Clonlara School serves elementary (K-8) students through high school students. Since 1979, over 4,700 students have earned our high school diploma, and over 30,000 more have benefited from enrollment during their school age years. Our graduates have gone on and succeeded at colleges, prestigious universities, every branch of the armed forces, into the arts and athletic fields, as well as mission work and entrepreneurial businesses. They are well prepared for their pursuits because their own goals guide their educations. Click here to see our Graduation Requirements.
