Edgenuity, formerly Education2020 (E2020), is a self contained online curriculum provider. Clonlara School offers a full list of Edgenuity courses for our students to choose from. The courses include the self contained online curriculum, along with teacher support from Edgenuity. These courses are offered as an option to our students, they are not required, and there is additional cost for those students who choose to use the online courses.
Most of our students create their own courses and may choose to take one or two online courses during their high school careers. Students who want to take all online courses should also take a look at our full time Stepping Stones Program. Edgenuity and Stepping Stones have slightly different course offerings, courses can be taken interchangeably, but Stepping Stones has a full time tuition option for those students who want to undertake six credits.
Edgenuity is aligned to state and national standards. It has helped students earn and recover credits for graduation as well as prepare for state, end-of-course, and key standardized tests, since 1998.
NOTE: Edgenuity E2020 courses are accessed through the Internet. They may include online activities that allow the student to link to websites that are outside the Edgenuity E2020 and Clonlara School domains. Edgenuity E2020 trusts these websites and believes that the content is both appropriate and educational.

This per course cost is for currently enrolled Clonlara students. It includes teacher support from Edgenuity teachers and complete online curriculum materials, and documentation of course progress and level of achievement. Course access is available during the school year from September until June.
Within 30 days of login assignment, students have the option to (1) change a course at no charge or (2) receive a 75% refund of course costs. After 30 days of login assignment, refunds are not given.
Written notice must be sent to Clonlara School’s Registrar to cancel or change courses.
Courses cover between 0.5 and 1.0 credit each. One credit courses may be taken for less than the full credit, if only a portion of the course is desired or completed.
Grades are determined by the amount of the course completed by the student and the “Actual Grade” function of the Edgenuity E2020 program. Students have constant access to their grade information and parents receive regular progress reports.
If a change in the amount of credit earned occurs, the Actual Grade may be adjusted (e.g., if a student does not complete the amount of course credit as originally intended). The Registrar’s office will guide you through this process.
It is highly unusual that students would score below a C- with Edgenuity E2020™. However, the Grading Scale for percentages below 70 is available from the Registrar’s Office upon request.

Edgenuity E2020 is a teaching tool unto itself. Clonlara’s price allows for access to online courses, and the Edgenuity teachers who support them. The price but does not cover further direct instruction or content help outside of the program’s guidance that may be needed for some students. For additional subject content assistance, students may wish to enlist the help of a tutor. Edgenuity E2020 courses generally require at least five (5) hours of study per course, per week. Please be prepared for such a time commitment. Students are responsible for setting a schedule to work on their courses daily.
